Can. Pours clear reddish brown with very small frothy beige head, caramel malt-fruity aroma, medium carbonation, mildly bitter sweet caramel malt taste with faint coconut flavor, thin body, long caramel finish. Coconut is not really much noticeable.

Draught @ The Taproom, Patchogue. Faintly cloudy golden with small frothy whitish head, faint malt aroma, slightly salty-citrusy taste, smooth body, medium finish. Well rounded but not remarkable.

16 oz. can. Pours a very hazy straw yellow color with a white head and good retention. Streaming carbonation. No real lacing. Euro lager aroma. The flavor is mostly generic lager. Any watermelon flavor is super subtle and probably imagined. The salt flavor becomes more evident as it warms and helps balance the malt sweetness. That said the beer is really clean and smooth and easy drinking. Repeatable.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Appearance is hazy orange/yellow with trace sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is citrus, mostly orange, dank mustiness and milder tart fruit. Taste is sweet citrus and candied sugar, equally (or more) offset by back end caramel/bready malt and some dank bitterness. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as back end of taste. Overall, has the advertised contributions of orange citrus and honey, but it only come off as about average. To be fair, some of this may be due to this being beyond the best by date on the bottom of the can (11/24/18) so fresher hops may have yielded stronger citrusy hops, less bitterness, and less malts.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark mahogany color with virtually no head. Very soda-like pour. No lacing. Faint molasses nose. Tastes like fake coconut and cola with molasses = not good. Flat, lifeless body. Super short finish. No real bad flavors, just devoid of any good flavors. Very disappointing. At least the 7.5% ABV is well hidden.

Can from the Beer Hawk mystery box. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of honey and bread. Light toast i guess if you look for it. Taste is more of the same, slightly grassy note at the end. OK.

355ml bottle. Clear, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally spicy, malty aroma, hints of grain, caramel, some husk. Taste is mellow malty, a touch of caramel and malt lozenge, cream, toffee. Very smooth and soft palate.
