At a tasting, thanks, no head, clear deepish yellow color, ripe Apple aroma, very sweet and alcoholic, a bit bitter. Bad, feels artificial.

Clear golden color with a creamy white head. Malty, mild grain and mild herbal. Plain lager. Medium body, and an average carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness.

330ml bottle as Magners Irish Cider Original. Pours clear fizzy melon/peach color like a rosé wine, with only a very transient head and no lacing. The aroma has some sweet apple in it, mixed with some chemical soda notes, artificial sweeteners, borderline medicinal. Yeasty phenols. The taste is wine-y, tart, mild acidic, light sweet. The palate is a watery, high carbonation. Decent sweet and fruity finish.

19/07/2015 - from cider ratings backlog.
500ml bottle. Pours a dark red/purpleish colour, minimal pink head which disappears immediately. Pear and berry fruits on the nose, sweet and syrupy. Taste is medium sweet, pear, mix of syrupy berry fruits - strawberries and raspberries definitely, presumably blackcurrant too, sugary sweet yet not cloying. Medium body, smooth syrupy texture, average carbonation. Overall a very average fruit cider.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 26 June 2015) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit and grassy hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, passion-fruit and a generous grassy, citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty, with a generous hop character. Nice one.

330 from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear perry color with a slight white head. Aroma is pearish. Med minus body. Flavor is a bit odd. Pear is not at all fresh. Kind of like over pasteurized? Not a perry I’d recommend.
