473mL can, pours a dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma has soft toasted malt and some earthy notes. Flavour is very weak, with toasted malt and a hint of watery cocoa. Extremely thin and watery. Not really any smoke. Pointless, watery creation, but inoffensive.

Dark brown. Not much head. There's a lot of smoke on the nose, with some almost like a french toast character, a bit of grain and sugar. On the palate, it's thin, again with a lot of smoke, low bitterness, and not quite enough sugars.

Poured from 473mL can (bb 28 Apr 2026; thanks mom). Dark brown with minimal off-white head. Feint soured smoked roast malt, just a hint of chocolate, a bit thin, disappointing. Average.

Can from the LCBO.
Dark, hazy purpleish red pour, with a small off white head. Aroma is random berry sweetness, with some malted wheat, nothign special.
Sweet, berries, cant really say they are black berries, low bitterness.

Southern River Brewing version, I assume it's the same beer like all the others. More of a malt forward golden ale, bready cereals, light grasses. Low bitterness, biscuity, malty, not bad, not great.

Can from the brewery.
Dark brown pour, with a medium off white head. Aroma is roasty malts, a bit nutty, some nice bready notes, and some toffee. Mouth feel is good, carb is solid. Finish is semi sweet, a little nutty, nice toasted, toffee malts.

Can from the brewery, now labeled as a South River Brewing brew. Clear yellow pour, with a medium white head. Grains, light sweetness, soft grassy hops. Run of the mill, "honey" beer. Its just an ale, with a touch more sweetness, the honey is mostly for color.

Can from the brewery. Slightly hazy yellow pour with a large white head. Aroma has some slight hints of citrus, resinous pine, lemon zest and a solid, crisp malt bill. Clean, smooth mouth feel, and a nice carb. The finish is clean and medium bitter, dry and crisp. Nice malts, solid hops, nothing to write home about but clean and a solid session pale ale.

Can from the brewery. Clear golden pour small white head. Grassy, decent cereals, and grains. Nothing to mind blowing here, run of the mill craft lager. A nice alternative to the big boys.
