0.5l tap and 2l growler. Unclear orange golden with a foamy head. Dry zesty notes, yeasty, citrussy, sourdough, grain, bread, lemongrass, hay, freshly mowed grass. Mild dry sourness, grainy sweetness, some bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry zesty grainy finish. Great Zoigl, as it is supposed to be.

This has not retired. 0.5l tap served in stein. Heavy on clove and esters, yeasty, zesty, full of other spices, bubblegum, unripe banana. Dry bitterness. Full bodied, oily, lively carbonated, dry clovy spicy finish. Very unique Weißbier, loads of clove and spices, yet rather dry and quaffable.

0.5l tap. Unclear dark golden, small creamy head. Zesty, citrussy, floral, buttery, grassy, barnyard, hay, stonefruit, light metal, earthy notes, estery notes. Mild dry bitterness, some yeasty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, low carbonated, dry bitter finish. Very rural and unique.

From 1L bottle at Bor's tasting. Slightly hazy golden colour. Little head. Aroma's are butter(y) and light fruit. Retronasal it's buttery, fruity, malty. Flavour is quite malty sweet. Light bodied. A hint of bitter in the finish. A bit too buttery and sweet.

“Schafferhof-Zoigl“, vom Faß im Schafferhof in Neuhaus am Zoigltag 2019. - Hell goldbraun, leicht trüb. - In der Nase Brotkruste, milde Hefe, milder herbaler Hopfen. - Antrunk leicht toastig hellmalzig mit intensiver ätherisch-kräuteriger Hopfenherbe. Anklänge an Waldhonig und Orangenschale. Wenig rezent, glatt. Im Abgang lang nachhallende kräuterige Herbe und ganz dezente Altersnoten. - Vergleichsweise intensiv, fast schon scharf kräuterig (minzig) gehopfter Zoigl, dennoch reich, tief und süffig. Tap @ Zoiglstube. Orange blonde color. Citrusflavor with tangerine. Earthy hops with a touch of yeast in the flavor. Earthy bitter aftertaste. Malty. Almost medium bodied.

From bottle: sour cream, butter and hops in the aroma. Butter, chewing gum, loads of flowery and earthy hops, especially revealing itself in the aftertaste. Hint of wood and butter in the aftertaste. Low on carbon. In spite of a very rural mouthfeel, this is very special beer. (7 2 8 2 15 = 3.4) Tap @ zoiglstube. Blonde, just a bit hazy. Flowery, just a bit soapy aroma. Initial malty flavor with earthy hops and some citrus notes. Long flowery aftertaste with citrus.
