Clay mug. Banana, estery aroma. Quite fermented banana, salt, passion fruit, earth , burned sugar, flavors clash though, not harmonic.

Tap. Light yet chewy body cloudy yellow, lacing offwhite head. Fresh baked bread aroma. Crisp hop and chewy clay. Grass, salt, hay, bitter lemonpeel. As so many other Zoigl deceptively and ultimately drinkable.

Tap. Peppery aroma, grassy. Cloudy yellow, nice lacing white head. Extremely minerally, late herbal grassy hops. Chewy body, sparkly mouthfeel. Minerals tilt over into the extremely herbal and butterscotch for me, Josh and Sunshine assure me the latter it is not there, very interresting.

Tap. Cloudy yellow, white head. Yeasty, citruspeel, clay, bitter grassy hops. Medium to light, chewy dry mouthfeel. Feels like a Pilsner served in a unbaked clay mug. Unspoilt, fresh.

Draught at the Altnaabtaler Hof: A bit unclear, golden, stable white head, visible carbonation; light to moderate hayish-hoppy nose with a light barnyardy touch, light bodied, not watery, quite soft; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour; slightly lingering dryish hoppy-bitter finish. O.K. ......

Tap. Sweet buttery malt aroma. Mostly clear golden yellow color with a small head. Sweet creamy malt and moderately bitter grass hops flavor. Very nice - the hoppiest Zoigl I’ve had.
