This could not look worse. It's fucking dark grey. Aroma is muddled and goes nowhere. Maybe phenols. Bland hop, maybe stone fruit, kind of empty honestly. This came in a can and having discussed the matter it does seem like it was a packaging problem.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear dark golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt, some grassy hops, and light straw. Flavour is bright, with grassy hops, biscuity malt, and straw. Clean and bright. Nothing too invigorating but well-made.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 14/02/2025). Clear amber gold with full white head. Nice crisp bready malt, very feint bittering hops on the finish, clean, simple, well made. Guessing the Magnet (see Oakes' rating) got creative with the description as usual - the Beva can classifies it as a "Export Helles"

473mL can. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Soft biscuit malts and straw on the nose. Flavour has a very clean biscuit character that is soft and lightly sweet, followed by dry straw. This is very solid.

Hazy and pale. Thin head. Tart, with a touch of bugs. Kind of a nice, drinkable wild ale with pale malt base. Not as developed as would be ideal, but it's a 1 year anniversary beer, and it's showing a lot of promise.

Pale amber. Slight haze. Thin head. Bready, good body, sort of an off-dry finish. It's okay, not really the full malt I prefer in this style...whatever style they're going for. It's billed as "KELLER MUNICH EXPORT" which couldn't be more non-existent if it tried. Dry attempted dortmunder? Who knows.

Pale and hazy. Thin head. Tart, plummy, berryish, and it has a slight appley note as well. Drinkable, decent fruit sour.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 15/10/2024). Clear-ish blonde gold with full white head. Dry saison yeast with feint brett and oak, perhaps a bit too dry, but quite nice. Probably what Studio Al Volo should have been (same brewer) if it wasn't rushed.

473mL can. Pours hazy pale blonde with a large white head. Funky, rustic nose with a little kick of black pepper. Flavour has a less pronounced funk and peppery saison yeast with a dry finish. High carbonation. A bit of a vegetal character floating throughout as well. Started out nice, but fell a bit flat. Still very nice though.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a monstrously huge head with long retention. Nose is fragrant, with a wonderful bouquet of brett, rustic saison yeast, some oak, and a little white pepper. Flavour is very dry and rustic, with plenty of dry oak, rustic saison yeast, more subdued brett, and a touch of white pepper. Almost bone dry, as though the oak has dried out whatever the brett hadn't eaten up yet. So promising on the nose, yet falls a tad flat on the flavour. Still, very good effort.
