Description
Based on a busy working farm in the picturesque village of Bradfield in the Peak District, Bradfield Brewery have gone from milking 100 cows a day to brewing over 100,000 pints of beer a week! The brewery sprung to life with completion of its first Brew on 26th April 2005 and the brews have carried on flowing ever since.

Trivia: As the family had enjoyed 2 generations of farming at Watt House Farm and not wanting the cows to feel left out, some of the beers are named after breeds of cattle.

Cask at Blue Bell, York, N. Yorkshire. Clear golden. Fruity nose. Mid sweet with light-medium body and soft mouthfeel. Spun sugar and ripe fruits with a slight edge of spicy hops. Mid bitter finish. To rate a beer at the Blue Bell will probably raise the score a couple of points...

Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours black with a smooth, tight, light beige head. Enticing mocha aroma, modest roast. Flavor isn’t quite as nice but still alright. Light sweet, faint mocha and light fruits (like, raisins?) and mild earthy bitterness. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Quite a dry finish, mild lactic notes, more mocha. For what it’s worth, the beer leaves marvelous lacing. Overall solid.

Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours clear yellow with a rich, pure white foam cap. Aroma holds a lot of hay and mild citrus. Flavor is like juice, orange juice, nice and sweet, mild bitterness of zesty citrus and hay. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Finishes sweet, semi-sticky, plenty more juicy orange, tangerine and ripe lemon. Very good beer. (3.8)

Cask at the Metropolitan Bar, JDW - London. Pours perfectly clear, yellow-gold with a white foam head. Not great this time around. Some cheap white bread pale malt character with nips of creamy vanilla, white sugar and faint straw. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lemon meringue in the finish with light, doughy white bread. Meh. (3.1)

Dark nut brown color, creamy off-white head, lace. Very light nose with caramel, balsamico and malts. Medium-bodied. Flavor has some licorice, hops and maltyness. Slightly sweet. Kind of oddball, but I liked it.
