Bottle at the Grosvenor. It's totally pishin outside and my bus is in 12 minutes. Appearance - golden with well more golden. Nose - wood and whisky. Dry apple skin. Taste - more woody cider with whisky interludes. Palate - close to medium bodied and dry. Residual sweetness. Overall - almost alco-pop enough for Ben.

330ml bottle. Pours a yellow golden colour with a short-lived fizzy white foam head and whiskey aroma. Taste is sweetish juicy apple, citric with smoke, wood, vanilla, Jack Daniels whiskey notes. Light bodied, low to medium carbonation, lingering smokey woody whiskey notes at the finish. Quite OK.

Bottle at L42 - thanks to dirty Danny (living up to his name). It pours clear yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, tart, tangy apple, apple skin, apple pie and a touch of whiskey. The taste is dry, vaguely tart, tangy apple, apple tango, JD, refined sugar and lemonade. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty simple stuff, but I had actually feared worse. Not bad for an alcopop.

Bottle shared in London / immense thanks to Danny. Pours clear yellow with a fine, foamy white head. The nose has some apple, sure, and a little lemon and pale bread. Medium sweet flavour, an odd mix of lemonade and JD. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly tangy, some American bourbon. Not as bad as you might expect.

Bottle split at L42, thanks to Danny, 23/08/17. Very light pale golden with a moderate off white hat that soon clears. Nose is sweet, JD noted, straw, grains, more JD than owt else. Taste comprises sweet licks, apple pulp, more JD, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Sippable stuff but zero revisit.

330ml bottle from Asda - Clear amber gold, no head. Nose is bitter apples, with a smokiness of the JD. Taste has a good undertone from the bourbon. Surprisingly nice fizz.

330ml bottle from Morrisons. Clear golden orange appearance, no head. Aroma has quite prominent bourbon, apples underlying that. Taste is actually a surprisingly nice blend of apples and bourbon, working together much better than I anticipated, sweet but not cloying. Light body, average carbonation. Not bad - if you don’t like JD you won’t like this at all but if you do it’s worth a try.

Bottle from Morrisons and drunk at home. Thanks to SarkyNorthener for giving me brewery 2998 on my way to 3000. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Certainly a bourbon aroma. An apple cider medium sweetness with actually quite a decent balance of bourbon. Surprisingly not awful. Oh my god, its actually ok. I mean a little sweet, but absolutely fine. I mean I finished the bottle. Jeez. OK.
