17th June 2015: keg half-pint at The Codsall Railway pub. Poured into a tall BCL badged glass it looked your typical lager/pilsner: clean, clear and golden yellow with a white head that didn’t hang around long. Not a lot of aroma or taste, refreshing with the sort of hop/malt blend that equals each other out by cancelling the traits of each ingredient. It was OK, necked it as my train was coming: made me burp.

25th April 2015: hand-pump poured half-pint at a beer festival in the Duke of York, Lichfield. Full on golden body with a decent lasting head. Hop lead in aroma and taste, malts to balance only. Decent.

Gravity cask at the Walsall Camra, beer festival 2015. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light citrus malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light floral hop bitter, light malty, light citrus with a long lasting bitter finish. Moderate to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Wellington; coca cola black pour with a bubbly tan head, coffee and malt aroma, taste has coffee, a hint of liquorice, chocolate, ok.

Cask-conditioned at the Bull’s Head, Sedgely, 22/11/2014. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head. Sweetish, honeyed strong bitter, with a touch of stone fruit and decent, bitter, finish. Good.

Cask @ The Salopian, Shrewsbury. It actually does have a kind of golden glow. Smooth caramel flavours, a faint air of citrus, easily quaffable, not a bad drop.

Cask stillage at the Birmingham CAMRA festival 2014. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a thin whispy white head. The aroma malt, light hop. The flavour is light bitter with a smooth, watery light hop bitter palate. A decent session ale but too light for me.
