Description
Combining our love for craft beer with our love for the outdoors we came up with the idea behind Antur Brew Co. 'Antur' being the Welsh word for 'Adventure'.
We wanted to showcase the incredible local landmarks we have within the Brecon Beacons National Park, which formed the inspiration behind our label designs. Choosing our favourite beer styles, modernising and matching them with some of our favourite locations.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 21/07/24. Hazed orange with a white cap that veers to the edge. Nose is orange pith, grass, melon, soft malts, light breads, pineapple. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, papaya, melon, mandarin, guava. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced light juice laden hop bitterness. Tidy enough easy drinking IPA.

440ml can from Hop In, Brecon. Pours very dark, tan head. Gorgeous Black IPA, lovely balance with alluring dark treacle tones and subtle pine and mango emerging on the finish. Loving Antur atm.

330ml bottle from the brewery. Hazed golden yellow, fluffy white head. Punchy hop profile, leafy aroma, orangey shades, some sap, bittersweet with mild woody moments. Pretty decent, though not quite as smooth and full bodied as the New England greats

330ml bottle shared with the hadmeister. Pours a clear bright golden yellow with a decent white cap. Aroma is pleasantly sweet malt, continuing to taste with a lovely cereal malt sweetness coursing through. Just enough bitterness. Really good, balanced, nicely presented helles lager.

330ml bottle (BB 11th July 2024), shared with Mat on 6th November 2023 during a Mega tasting session at my house. Pleasant, easy going Helles, almost a clean and clear look, white crown. Not as interesting as where the brewery is (Three Cocks), but it's a decent enough refreshing beer.
