Description
To create new and unique beer styles that challenge people's perception of beer. In short: to create true Craft Beers.
The Brew By Numbers range features a handy naming convention, where the first number refers to the beer's style and the second number refers to the beer's recipe.
Initially a small scale brewer who first brewed in October 2012 based on Southwark Bridge Road, London. Moved to their current location, where a 10BBL plant is used, in June 2013.
Moved to a much larger site in Greenwich in 2021 running down the Bermondsey operation and closing it within a couple of years.

On tap at Worm Has Turned, Derby – as 4.5% Pours a cloudy grapefruit with minimal white head but high carbonation. Aroma has vague malts, ctitrus and grapefruit leanings. In the mouth it is exceedingly sharp with grapefruit, mango and hints of ibtters and pineapple. After a while it does become more juicy. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. Well I managed to finish this – but it was a struggle ! Way too much hipster orientated craftiness.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thick white head. Aromas of green plant stalks and grapefruit. Taste is a bit dank. Something of the sweet shop, and a saline note. Quite odd. Not unlikeable though.
