About
To create new and unique beer styles that challenge people's perception of beer. In short: to create true Craft Beers.

The Brew By Numbers range features a handy naming convention, where the first number refers to the beer's style and the second number refers to the beer's recipe.

Initially a small scale brewer who first brewed in October 2012 based on Southwark Bridge Road, London. Moved to their current location, where a 10BBL plant is used, in June 2013.

Moved to a much larger site in Greenwich in 2021 running down the Bermondsey operation and closing it within a couple of years.

200ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Patches on the surface of a misty yellowish body, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of orange fruits. Mixed taste character of minerals, citrus, and pale malts. Drying close with a discreet bitter touch. Drinks very well. Nice pilsner version. (Tromsø, 05.04.2023).

200ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Doses not exactly look good in the glass with a grey golden-reddish body, unclear. Filmy layer, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of berry skins and a spicy touch. Semi-dry taste profile of berry-fruits and bread, lightly spiced. Slightly bitter berry-fruity end, quite refreshing. Satisfying. (Tromsø, 05.04.2023).

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - amber with a very slight haze. Creamy head. Nose - oh yeah, pink grapefruit flesh and grapefruit zest. Light bread back note. Taste - more zest and fruit from grapefruit. Palate - light bodied, zingy finish. Overall - good, if a bit cheaty to use grapefruit in a hoppy beer.

44cl Can from Appellation Wines. This one is 6.2%. Appearance - cloudy yellow to orange. Creamy, snow white head. Nose - sweet peach, green grape and ripe melon with some citrus zest. Taste - sweet peach and melon again, then running into zingy lime. Palate - light to medium bodied, zingy middle and finish. Overall - good quencher! --- Beer aliased from original tick of 05|08 India Pale Ale - Mosaic on 17 Jan 2015 at 14:58 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: Bottle from Beets. Appearance - deep amber with a decent head. Cloudy after sediment. Nose - definitely more earthy than fruity. Yeast dominant. Taste - earthiness and bitter orange. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - decent but wouldn’t necessarily reach for another.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - hazy, light yellow with some floaty bits, some a bit dark and a snow white head. Nose - floral and light citrus. Taste - biscuit, orange and then a crisp lager finish reminiscent of bitter salad. Palate - light bodied, a touch of sweetness in the middle. Crisp lager finish. Overall - didn't look great but improved a lot after that.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 29/03/23. Clear golden with a just off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is grapefruit, orange zest, grass, light pine, melon. Taste comprises grapefruit zest, grass, citric tinged straw, melon, crisp citric flesh. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow hop bitterness. Okay pale.
