The Brew By Numbers range features a handy naming convention, where the first number refers to the beer's style and the second number refers to the beer's recipe.
Initially a small scale brewer who first brewed in October 2012 based on Southwark Bridge Road, London. Moved to their current location, where a 10BBL plant is used, in June 2013.
Moved to a much larger site in Greenwich in 2021 running down the Bermondsey operation and closing it within a couple of years.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours black-brown with a creamy, beige head. Medium sweet flavour, nutty, some ashy roast, bitter cocoa, light booze. Full bodied, lightly oily, with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, further ashy roast, cocoa, scorched earth, toasted hazelnuts, a little black coffee. Quite tasty.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours hazed yellow with a big, flurry, pure white head. Lightly sweet, fairly dry, some flinty mineralogy, lemon peel, pithy grapefruit. Light bodied with active carbonation. Dry and pithy finish, subdued citrus notes. Decent.

Tap at brew by numbers. A hazed orange coloured pour with a creamy white head. . Aroma is soft wheat, bready, orange, tangerines. Flavour is composed of semi sweet soft wheat, orange apricot, tangerine, light cracked pepper. Palate is semi sweet, frothy carbonation. Solid.

Donkerbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets an chocolade, wat koffie en wat vanille. Heel zacht en licht romig in de mond.
