Established in 1983, Old Mill Brewery is a small independent family owned brewery, housed in an 18th century former corn mill and maltings at Snaith in East Yorkshire. It is equipped with a highly specified, modern brewing plant, Old Mill Brewery has retraced the footsteps of the traditional regional brewer.
Dedicated to producing a range of quality ‘real ales’, not only for the local market, but for a national audience too, the company with 150 years combined experience in brewing is recognized as one of the leading lights of the recent revival of the brewing art.

2026 Skipton Beer Festival #7. Clear deeper golden coloured brew. Session material, hoppy with an easy watery texture, but not thin or weak. Has a dryish pale ale style aftertaste.

Cask at Hull Minster Beer Fest. Opaque cola brown. Thick foamy beige head..Aroma has mocha for a bitterness with a sweet edge. Flavourwise it has sour berries and creamy mocha. Long sweet finish. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Nice.

Cask at the Magnet, Stockport. Pours clear amber with beige foam. Aroma: malt, caramel, hedgerow fruits, light nutty. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, malt, hedgerow, some toffee. Medium body with soft carbonation. Bog standard malty best bitter.
