hand-pulled half-pint in my local Wetherspoons on 19th June 2016. Clean and clear looking golden brew with a full white head. Sadly I found this a little bland and uninteresting. Not enough hop bite or malty goodness for me. Just a weak blend of not much: pity because I quite like most of the Lymestone beers I’ve had.

Cask @ Montgomery’s Tower, Shrewsbury. Pours clear amber, small white head. Aroma brings light caramel malt. Taste is grainy with faint caramel and a mirage like nuttiness.

Cask at Hamilton Hall by London Liverpool St Station. Pours chestnut brown with a small tan colour head. Mild aroma of chocolate, roasted malt and dark fruit. Medium sweetness, light bitterness with very light sourness. Light body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Finish has a light roasting, chocolate and sour fruit edge. A pint which grew on me but wasn’t great tbh.

Cask pint in my local Wetherspoons on 19th April 2016. Pale golden pour, white head with lacing. Tropical fruit nose, grapefruit and citrus flavours taste wise with a bitter finish. Another UK brewed light gold citrus flavoured beer, this one wasn’t too bad though.

Cask, shared with Finn at Standing Order (JDW) in Derby. Low white head blanketing the glass. Clear golden. Distant smell of oily hops and bread. Dough and juicy malts to the taste buds. Mid-dry bitter ending. Slightly beyond par, I would say (18.02.2016).
