750 ml bottle. Thank you Clarkvv. Aroma of honey, toffee, waffle cones. Flavor is soft bourbon, light vanilla, mild toffee. Decent flavor. Decent for what they where trying to pull off here.

2022 bottle shared by tfontana on 8/9/25.
Clear, dark mahogany. Tan head.
Sweet vanilla icing and honey. Vanilla soft serve. Graham cracker and light bourbon.
Bourbon and vanilla icing with good acidity and soft caramel and toffee. Sweet, rich, balanced. Juicy and sweet but lovely. Not pushing the boundaries on complexity but the flavors are there.

Shared at the tasting. Brownish pour and sudsy head. Nose is fruity and cinnamon. Tastes of cinnamon and fruits, cherry, and bready. Cream soda. Weird one.

Another BA stout showing off the barrel character in a big way. The stout is roasty, bitter dark chocolate, and some light coffee notes.

16 oz. can. Pours a clearish, orange color, with a small, foamy, fleeting, white head. The aroma is grapefruit, black pepper, lemon zest, juniper, and lavender. Light to medium body, juicy, and crisp. Bright, fruity, and refreshing.

500 ml bottle. Thank you Clark! Appearance is pitch black with an oily film and mild chunks of peanut butter cups floating in the stout. Chocolate, some rye bourbon and vanilla. Flavor is not very cohesive. A blast of chocolate and sugar, upfront, and then turns into pretty intense rye barrel in the finish.

Bottle pour shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Inky, viscous, opaque black, no head or lacing. Aroma is strong bourbon, toffee, rye then lighter peanut butter. Taste is strong bourbon, rye, chocolate, some alcohol harshness, later, milder peanut butter, oak. Full bodied, thick texture, average carbonation, some alcohol burn/harshness, finish as taste. Given peanut butter is supposed to be the star of the show, a bit disappointing. Decent but not great.

2023 500mL bottle drunk 7/25/25.
Clear, dark, some mahogany on the edge. Very little head, even with an aggressive pour. There are peanut butter cups floating in my beer!
Rich, spicy rye and rich chocolate with earthiness. Peanut butter isn't too artificial or candied. Vanilla, round whiskey and deep chocolate with no alcohol or excessive sweetness.
Soft, chocolatey, peanut buttery and, sadly, maybe a bit on the sweet side. Big rye spice does balance, I suppose, but it's somehow still rather disjointed. You get a lot of soft, sweet, adjunct and sugar up front and then an abrupt spicy rye finish. It's not boozey but the strength is felt and the rye is very intense.

Thanks Clark, sweet malt, PB, rye barrel to cut the sweetness. It's not quite balanced.
