(Draft at Muted Horn, Berlin, 16 May 2026.Vintage 2017) Black colour with brief, brown head. Malty, roasty nose with dark chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, maple syrup and pecan nuts. Malty, roasty taste with notes of espresso, chocolate, cinnamon, maple syrup, nuts, bourbon, vanilla and a balanced coffee bitterness in a vinous finish. Full body, thick and oily moutfeel. Sweet. Rich, heavy and really tasty. Great beer!

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of lightly bready malt with grass/spice. Arguably med body. Fairly dry. Bitter enough for balance. Flavor is somewhat crispy biscuit with grass/spice and a bit of floral. Decent.

Olutsatama2026 (didn't check vintage). Black colour with a very minor off-white quickly vanishing head. Aroma is dark chocolate, coffee, some syrup, mild oak with some roasted malts, mild caramel as well as some fudgey tones. Flavour is sweet chocolate, dark chocolate, roasted malts, some fudgey elements with mild alcohol, some coffee as well as some figs and mild dried fruity tones.
