Taste is malt caramel, tangy, citrus fruity, mango, with pine and hop resiny bittermess. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry fruity hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Handpull cask at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Brownish gold, hazy with a very loose white head. Tropical fruit aroma, some light vinegar notes, some soap. Tastes better than it smells, with light bitter hop notes, some tannic tea and perfumed flower. Ultra-bitter hop on the long finish. A bit messy, a shiny have had better although it's good enough.

Keg at the Joiners Arms, Bakewell, 14/09/20. Clear golden with a decent white cap, full glass lacing ensues. Nose is melon, peach, grass, mixed tropical fruits. Taste comprises soft malts, melon, tangerine, lychee, soft breads. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close Splashed with juicy hop bitterness. Solid cask pale.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus and grain. Taste is bitter, lime sharp citrus, some rounding sweetness. Creamy texture, bitter finish.

Can (5.5%) bought from the Real Ale Classroom, drunk at home. Dark gold, hazy, flat. Lots of creamy fruit notes in the aroma. Frozen apricot yoghurt with strong vanilla bean. Sweet taste, lots of lactose. The balance is just right, any more and it would be a bit sickly. More vanilla in the finish, With a touch of carbonation. No surprises here, a basic but extremely delicious milkshake IPA.
