Cask at the Exeter Arms, Derby, 11/02/22. Clear golden with a good sized white head. Nose is mellow citric zest, melon, stoned fruits, grass. Taste comprises soft malts, tangerine, melon, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow hop bitterness. Not bad.

Cask at Exeter Arms, Derby. Pours almost black with a small cream head and good lacing. Coffee and chocolate stand out in a strong aroma. It’s a tad watery in the mouth, but the flavours make up for that. Dark fruits and chocolate at first with bitter coffee grounds and cocoa nibs soon joining. Despite all that, it’s fairly sweet. Nice and drinkable, but unfortunately the individual flavours don’t combine to give a coherent tiramisu whole.

Cask at Exeter Arms, Derby. Pours a golden amber with minimal off-white head and good lacing. There’s a vague aroma of tropical fruits and traditional hops. Hops are more to the fore in the mouth, but the overall effect is still sweetness and autumn fruits. Some traces of corn, grain and spices too. Finish is bitter, fruity and slightly dry. A very nice beer indeed, but a bit more of a traditional bitter than an IPA.

Cask at Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival 2021. Gluten Free. Black colour, beige foam head leaving lacing and aroma malt, coffee, chocolate. Taste is malty, roasty, dark chocolate, coffee, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty bitter finish. Quite drinkable

Hand-pulled half-pint at The Station Hotel, Oakengates on 1st October 2021. Clean golden body, neat white crown. Bitter and fruity with a citrus front to both the nose and taste.

Cask at Exeter Arms, Derby. Pours a pale straw with a small white head and good lacing. .Summer fruits in the aroma. The mouth has flavours of floral hops and apples, together with some hints of spices such as cloves. Finish is dry. Pleasant enough but not a lot to it – a refreshing summer drink.

Cask at Old Bell, Derby Pours a lemon yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Not much of a nose, just a vague hint of lemon. Lemon again in the mouth, with corn, almonds and some hints of general citrus. Finish is general citrus. Littleover make some good beers – this isn’t one of them.
