Description
Wild Card Brewery was founded in 2012 at the Ravenswood Industrial Estate Walthamstow.

We brewed Mon-Fri and come the weekend, we would open the brewery doors and serve up our beers. With support from the local community our shed became one of Walthamstow's best loved bars, hosting beer festivals, tap takeovers and live music.

Meanwhile, in the brewery, Jaega was working away, tweaking old recipes and coming up with new ones. By 2017 she had 2 award winning beers under her belt and was struggling to make enough beer to keep up with demand - we were going to need a bigger brewery. So in 2017, we started a crowdfunding campaign to help us move the brewery to a bigger site.

In 2018 the brewery moved over to Lockwood Way, where we have doubled capacity - which means lots of Wild Card beer for all.

Wild Card Brewery now has two tap rooms in Walthamstow, and our beer is available in pubs, bars, restaurants and supermarkets across the UK.

Keg at the Rake, 10/08/21. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a big old white covering. Nose is orange pith, grass, melon, light stoned fruit notes. Taste comprises tangerine, grass, pine needle, ripe melon, papaya, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness. Decent thirst quenching pale for the ABV.

Keg @ Wild Card Brewery, Walthamstow. Hazy light amber with a head. It’s very fruity and somewhat dry with lots of nose.

Can from Honest Brew. Hazy golden body with s thick white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of melon, minerals, dried grass and orange. Flavour of tangerine, pine and peanut. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A well balanced IPA.

Appearance is clear golden, with a big pillowy head. Aroma is cereal malt, hops, peppery notes. Taste is creamy malt, peppery malt, juicy malt, malty finish.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 28/03/21. Clear orange golden with a good sized off white cap. Nose is melon, orange peel, grass, sweet malts, papaya. Taste comprises sweet malts, orange creme, melon, mellow tropical fruits, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness. A touch on the sweet and flabby side ... not crisp on the execution.

330ml can, via Beer52: BB 30th Sep 2021. Drank at home on 26th Mar 2021. Rather keen to get out of the tin, huge billowing white head on a misty golden body. Hoppy nose and taste, fruity with a tropical/citrus leaning, slightly bitter and pretty 'gassy' throughout.

31/3/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG cheers. Pours clear golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, peach, orange, grass, resin. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation.

Can: Poured a yellow with white thin head. Aroma is pungent fruit, little hoppy. Taste is bitter hops, fruity, citrus, melon, wet in finish.
