Cask at the Union Tavern, London. Pours dark brown with a fine, beige foam head. Ashy roast in the nose, some dry coffee. Light sweet flavor, burnt toast, light tang, hints of cocoa. Light bodied with fine, soft carbonation. A bit thin. Mellow roast to finish, light bittersweet cocoa, some earth. Not bad.

Cask in the Goodmans Fields Spoons. Almost clear gold beer. Tidy white head. Smooth palate, very mild carbonation. Bit of a grainy start, bearable! All right orange citrus hops on the back end. Smooth finish. Drinkable. Would be good with less raw tasting malt at the start.

Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear, vibrant gold with a moderate, frothy white head. Dried pale malts in the nose, some straw and lemon rind. Light sweet flavor, some pleasant dried citrus notes, lemon and tangerine, some biscuity pale malts. Light in body with fine carbonation. Well conditioned. Clean, lightly bitter finish, further biscuity pale malts, dry lemon. A very pleasant, easy-drinking golden. Good work.

Cask at the Cleveland Arms, London. Damn, I love this place. Pours clear, clever gold with a sturdy, frothy white cap. Bit of ripe orange on the nose, some lightly toasted pale malts. Light sweet flavor, some plump and ripe orange, mellow pine, toasted grains and grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition. Good bit of grass and resinous pine on the finish, moderate sweetness, some lightly toasted pale malts. A fairly well balanced, decently hoppy little sessioner. I would have no trouble this by the pint. Good work, new guy.
