Can. Murky dark brown with a cm of beige head. Aroma of ruby grapefruit, nectarines, sticky buns, some mocha. So it tastes - a bit BIPA where the malt side of things is allowed to be softer and more prominent. Hops still shine at the end though. Good autumnal stuff.

Can. Clear lightish amber with a good cm of dense white head that lasts well. Boozy gooseberries and weeds aroma with some kumquat and bread. Pretty shouty with some obvious booze but remains hop focused. Bitter with pine, grass and spices at the end. A bit insistent where a bit of room to move would have been good, but pretty good.

Rated at Penthouse Platinum Lounge - Pien Edition. Sweet, stuffy and artificial with some vanilla, earthiness and hints of caramel and syrup. A bit messy.

Here's hoping news of Hawkers' problems means they can be faced, consolidated & moved on from. Can. Just misted pale amber with a small white head. Aroma of kumquat, peach, old lime, a little pine , mildly funky crackers. But then grapefruit really charges through in the taste - overwhelming the malt really - and there's a spicy, woody feel to the firm bitterness. Most interesting of the 3 but probably shaded by the Thiolised one.
