In the summer of 2016 we opened our new 55,000 square foot facility at Campus 805, reclaiming a long vacant Middle School campus on the edge of downtown Huntsville and turning it into a thriving community of breweries, bars, restaurants, and local shops. At this new location, we expanded to include cider and mead production along with distilled spirits (Shelta Cavern Spirits), a scratch made kitchen (Ale’s Kitchen), a pinball arcade and pool room (Ronnie Rayguns).

Taster at Das Stahl. Pours a clear, brown color, with a medium, beige head. The aroma is plum, cardamom, maple, black pepper, and toast. Sweet and pretty yeasty, with a touch of bitterness. Medium to heavy body, spicy, and crisp. Surprisingly light, with a lot of character. Solid.

12 oz. can. Pours a murky, reddish color, with a small, off-white head. The nose is massive pomegranate, vanilla, Merlot, and caramel. Sweet and sugary, with a mild acidity. Pretty heavy body, with a thick, creamy palate. This is a big, decadent sour. Nicely aromatic and tasty.

Big and boozy, malt-heavy and proud of it. Full of caramel, tobacco, candy apple, dates, cocoa, a little molasses, and a lot of bourbon. Finishes with a mild oaked bitterness and lingering whiskey warmth. A sipping brew, for damn sure.
