Purchased from Trader Joe’s as part of a mix & match 6 pack, enjoyed on a Thursday night the week before the holidays. This is unbelievably clear, I can practically watch TV through this thing. Aroma of sugar and apples. Taste is extremely sweet, definitely champagne like, very bubbly, hint of apple in there as well. Not too much into it, tastes like the other Newton’s Folly I had.

I picked this up as part of a sampler 6 pack at Trader Joe’s, enjoyed on a Monday night prior to watching football. Appearance crystal clear amber with no head at all. Aroma of apples, sugar, and alcohol. Taste of apples and sugar, and alcohol. Good mouthfeel, crisp. Pretty decent stuff, not bad.

Non-musty pear and rose aroma, with shitty overtones. Clear very light green. Shitty acidic flavor. Barely palatable. Granny Smith is just the wrong variety of apple for cidering. This one is especially bad.

Fresh apple and strawberry nose. Clear amber, still. Tasty apple flavor, but simple. Harsh mouthfeel. Decent but unexciting.

Bottle from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. Pours like clear pear juice. Deep inhale produces honey aroma. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is mild honey and light appleskin. Slightly sweet. It gets a bit perfumey after awhile. Really easy to drink.

How much wood would a woodchuck....well nevermind. Around here we call the ground hogs. Very clear with barely any color, lighter than pale ale fer sure. weird off aroma when the lid is popped but it goes to a clear olfactory in the glass. Less carbonation than expected but still sizzly on the palate. Clean and fresh, some sweet thing in there that is not apple. Oh, now i see it is honey. Must be clover honey, thats where that odd aroma is coming from. Not bad overall. Finish is sweet soda pop, nothing bitter in this brew.

Bottle. Pours with no head and a near water hued body. There is no color! Aroma of honey, perfume, wax, mint, honeydew melon. Super sweet, melon, honey, chemicals. Alcopop! Tastes like a scented candle. Less carbonated than normal Woodchucks which makes the body feel sweeter and thicker. Original: 2.2

12 ounce bottle. Pours a very pale yellow color with absolutely no head. Aroma of floral, perfumey apples with a hint of honey. Taste is very light, almost like a perry, though the ingredient listing does confirm this is apples. Spritzy, light, floral with the honey adding a candy-like note. Medium bodied. Not their best seasonal.

Pour is a pee looking yellow with no head. Aroma is sugar with some apple juice thrown in there. Flavor is more sugar with some apple then comes a bittness on the back end. Its a cider not much else to say.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a very very clear and very pale yellow color with a thin head. Fair head retention ad lacing. Good thing it was free. Drain pour coming. Faint grainy green apple aroma. Taste is grainy tart green apple. Thin bodied. Not much going on here,
