Shig shared. Stemless wine glass at home. Clear, crispy, pale gold with a lingering soap head. Soapy, rough but rounded apple acid, earthy, noticeable rye & oak nose. Thin, creamy, semi-sweet, bittersharp & dessert, white sugar, big melon, strong apple brandy-like fortification, gentle acid, maybe some added malic acid, long oak finish. Thin, soft carb, very slight astringency on the tail. Ashamed to say that Woodchuck made something not terrible.

Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin (& Shawn). Pale yellow gold colour, no head and aroma of apple, vanilla, rye whiskey, barrel notes. Taste is sweet, appley, some formic hints, with rye whiskey barrel, vanilla and some light acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 20/08/24. Pale almost translucent yellow with a thin white cap. Nose is apple skin, funk, herb, tannins, orchard wood, light rye barrel notes. Taste comprises cooking apples, hedgerow, tannins, light sugar coating, modest whisky kiss. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.

Pours quite light yellow from a can. Very clean crisp nose, mild cleaning fluid perfume. First taste dry, less sugar than anticipated. Yes, I like this dry stuff more than the typical swee swee sweet woodchuck examples that I'm familiar with. In the middle, it goes down like a champion, very friendly yet dry, good balance. Maybe they used champagne yeast? The end is clean dry and nice. Good level of co2 from start to finish. You go Mr. Groundhog! Good thing you saw your shadow this year!

Cheap can. Very pale, clear and almost water in color. Friendly mild dull peach nose. First taste is less sweet than most WC ciders, a tremendous improvement. The dryness is much appreciated; not as alarming to my tummy once they disposed of the unfermented sugars. Yes, more like a real cider should be. The peach in this is certainly not artificial and it seems to have just the right amount to keep it interesting, it never gets up front in yer face. Good level of carbonation. Good finish and decent overall cider experience. Not a typical soda pop brew so often offered by WC! S7L2F3T7015

Pours light pink and amber with a thick white head. Aroma of blueberries, artificial. Taste has more berries, overpowering, loads of candied flavors, some ginger. Palate has more of the same, some ginger notes that linger. Eh.
