Cask at The Square Peg, Birmingham. Poured a deep reddish brown with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is malty with fruit. The flavour is medium to weak bitter, malty and with a nice zesty citrus palate and lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Smooth malty mild? It’s more like a mild / bitter combo and a super ale.
