Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Cloudy yellow-amber with a creamy head. There's some citrus frutiiness, dense tasting but smooth and it has a dryness.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from the Trembling Madness in York. Pours black-brown with a dense, lasting beige cream head. Not bad, has a lot of chalky cocoa, moderate earthy bitterness, roasted malts, a faint metallic note, baking cocoa. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with assertive bittersweet cocoa, some ashy roast scorched earth. Nice one.

Can at home in Hackney, shared with Nellser - sourced via the Trembling Madness, in York. Pours hazy orange-gold with a frothy, white head. Forward juiciness, some melon, strawberry, orange, piney bitterness, understated bready pale malts. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine to average carbonation. Has a little flinty dryness in the finish, a bit of dried mango, vague berries, relaxed rindy bitterness, mellow alcohol warmth. Not bad.

Can at the Bow Bar. Appearance - amber with a big fluffy head. Nose - orange and apricot, light toffee. Taste - more orange, maybe passionfruit. Biscuit. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture. The finish is dry and fresh. Overall - this was reduced suggesting BBD close but forgot to check. Still good.
