Can from Hogs Back Brewery shop. Tropical fruit aroma with malts. A solid opaque marmalade orange. Thick frothy white head. Medium-heavy bitter. Immediate hop impact. The juice is more evident in the finish. More bitter than I'd expect from a NEIPA? Medium bodied. Light. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Decent enough but not as juicy as I was expecting.

Keg @ Furley & Co, Hull. Golden with a head and a small carbonation. Passionfruit is dominant in its aroma, but less stated in its taste, fused here with a hint of coconut.

Keg at BD Leeds. It pours cloudy rose with a small white head. The aroma is sweet - sour, tart, tangy, sour candy, raspberry and zingy lemon. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, tangy, good mouth - pucker, zingy, touch of acidity, fresh raspberry, redcurrant and lemon action with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not much depth, but nice balance and very drinkable stuff.

Bottle taken away from the Tevern, Warrington, and drunk at home. Dark brown, only slightly translucent with a creamy tan head. Luscious aroma of chocolate, whisky, some coffee, black pepper, Marmite and black cherry. Delicious taste, boozy and quite sweet with a yeasty savoury note near the short finish. Body is too thin, and there's a strange medicinal note in the finish, but all in all it's very good although short of Wilde Child's best brews.

440ml can @ Station. Pours murky golden amber, frothy white crown. Vibrant pineapple & grapefruit on the nose. Continues to taste with additional overripe banana.. quite flavoursome, milky textures. Good introduction to this brewery.

Can @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark brown with a head. Crisp and smooth with its peanut butter usurping its banana, but never overbearing. There's a small toffee sweetness to its good dark malt character. Also has a hint of roasted.

York Beer Festival 2018. Very dark ruby red with cherry dominant in its taste and aftertaste, and always with a strength to its subdued roasted malts.

York Beer Festival 2018. Raspberry is dominant amongst some dark, somewhat roasted malts. Its strength is very evident too.

Wilde Child Hedonistic Existence Cask at Record Cafe, Bradford. It pours hazy dark brown to black with a light tan head. The aroma is sweet, unctuous, chocolate cake, roasted malt and chocolate Swiss roll. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, chewy, rich roast malt, chocolate cake, coffee grounds, caramel, Mars bar, lick of booze, touch of spice and charred wood with a drying, savoury finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Decent, particularly the aroma.
