The mint is subtle, thankfully.

330ml can from Ghost Whale. Sweet, caramely malty and grassy hoppy with some pine, earthiness and herbal notes. Quite generic.

Can bought from the Ale Stone, Aylstone, drunk at home. Dark gold, cloudy with a large off-white head. Dank hop smell with lots of pineapple and melon. Bitter taste undercut by a creamy sweetness. Finish turns more bitter without becoming too intense. More pineapple juice in the aftertaste. Carbonation is heavy. A gorgeous DIPA.

Keg at the Ale Stone, Aylstone, Leicester. Light to mid-gold, cloudy with a tiny ring of white head. Gorgeous fruit aroma with pineapple, passionfruit, papaya along with a milky sweetness. The bitterness of the fruity hop is balanced by an oaty sweetness. Sharp tang of tropical fruit juice in the finish. Body's on the thin side but it's well-carbonated. This is a yes from me.

Gravity cask at the Ale Stone, Aylstone, Leicester. Dark brown, opaque with the tiniest bit of off-white head. Banana is strong in the aroma with some fudge and a harsh metallic whiff. Interesting taste: the sweetness is countered by a burned malt flavour. Jars at first but I really warm to it. Medium to thick oily body, no carbonation. Imperfect but certainly quite good.

Hand pull cask at the Ale Stone, Aylstone, Leicester for their Wilde Child Tap Takeover. Gentle orchard fruit and some astringency on the aroma. Taste bittersweet with a vinous bitter kick near the end of the sip. The finish is bitter and pack full of hop oils, but surprisingly short. Medium to thick oily body. It's okay.

Handpull cask from the Ale Stone, Aylstone, Leicester. Golden and pretty much clear with spotty bits of white head. Not much smell to it, a bit of apples, grain and a metallic note. Bittersweet taste with juicy hop oils near the finish. Aftertaste of sour apple and lemon peel. There's a fair bit of visible carbonation which lifts the body. Not too exciting.
