Cask @ Castle View, Deganwy. Clear very pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of elderflower and a little bit of vinegar. Taste of elderflower, citrus fruits, flowers and perfume. Low bitterness. Low carbonation. Nice one but there’s a reason I didn’t go for a second pint.

Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a clear light golden colour with a one finger soapy looking white head. Aromas of elderflower (haha) and caramel, doughy bread and light hints of citrus. Taste is more elderflower, caramel and doughy bread with some biscuits and more lemony citrus coming through. Slightly sweet. Malty with very light and elegant floral hops lingering on the finish. Thin to medium body, low carbonation and very smooth mouthfeel. Lacing all the way down the glass. Enjoying this one. Very nice.

Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a clear deep copper colour with a one finger creamy beige head. Aromas of dark fruits, caramel, toasty brown bread and biscuits. Taste has more dark fruits (red berries), caramel, toasty brown bread and biscuits with an added touch of roasted malts and nuts. Very malty with an earthy hop hanging on the finish. Thin to medium body, low carbonation and smooth oily mouthfeel. Very decent beer with good flavour for the low abv.

330ml bottle. Very clear gold with a good frothy white head. Aroma is a little hard to pin down.. buttery rotting veg perhaps? Taste brings assorted bittery flavours, none veering into the fruity spectrum unfortunately.. mixed veg, malt and again that exceptionally bitter side coming in boldly on the finish. I expect this will be tweaked somewhat in future batches.

From cask at The Flying Horse at Gatwick Airport on the way to Bergen to celebrate ASM’s 40th birthday. Dark ruby copper. Foamy and persistent white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of dried fruits, prunes, medium dark malt and mellow pine bitterness that is lingering on. Appropriately uncarbonated. Very good!

Clear, deep gold with a frothy / creamy white head and a mellow aroma of grain, maybe some light malt and floral hops going on. Taste is biscuit malt, there's a kick of citrus bitterness and a fruity background, all delivered on a smooth, creamy mouthfeel
