Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours golden yellow with a small foamy almost white head and good lacing. The aroma is basically citrus and elderflower. In the mouth it is quite sharp with a creamy texture, Flavour has floral hops, citrus, lemon and elderflower with some underlying malty hints as well. A little lime comes through later on as well and the finish is slightly bitter. This is reasonable but more a drink for a sunny summer afternoon rather than a wet February evening !

Notert en hyggelig søndag formiddag på Vaaland Bryghus: klar lys gylden med ok skum. Nokså kunstig aroma og smak av vingummi og syltede tropiske frukter og søt marmelade. 0,44 boks fra min importkoffert, delt broderlig med bryggmesterne.

330ml can. Pours a clear yellow gold with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Mild aroma of grainy pale malt and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, red apple and lemongrass in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with an oily to watery texture and average to soft carbonation. Clean, refreshing and thirst quenching.

440ml can from a deli in Llangollen, Wales, UK. Pours a clear pale yellow-gold color with a small white head and fair retention. Barely any lacing. Standard pale malt aroma. The taste follows the nose：A straightforward pale lager, and really good. Clean and smooth. Lightly sweet. I don’t get any of the lemon or toffee notes mentioned on the can. Unremarkable, yet very good. Medium-light body. Light carbonation. Very low bitterness. I wish I bought more than one.

Bottle gift from brother – drank at home. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with medium sized frothy beige head. There’s roasted malts, chocolate and hints of coffee in the aroma. In the mouth there is a brief creamy sweetness before sharpish bitterness comes through. Flavour has roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, traditional hops, liquorice and hints of crusty bread. Finish is quite dry. This is rather nice – though tending more towards a black IPA than a stout methinks.
