# 2904; 4/2022. Aroma of caramel and slightly stale. Clear brown body, persistant tany head. Caramel, milk chocolate, watery. Weird milk stout. Half of pint, hand-pulled, pub, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.

Cask at Standing Order, Derby. Pours a very dark reddish brown with minimal off-white head. Aroma has roasted malts and liquorice. In the mouth it is pretty sweet and quite watery, with liquorice and caramel dominating. Later on some chocolate comes through. Finish is fairly sweet. Reasonable but not wildly exciting.

Cask at the Queens Head, Stourbridge at 4.2%. Pours light gold with a small head. Aroma is sweet warm ginger with a little lemon. Taste has grainy ginger, slightly acrid. A bit watery.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 31/10/2019. Dark brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Sweet milk chocolate, caramel. light oastiness and a gently sweet finish. Ok.

Bradford Beer Festival 2019. Clear yellow-gold in colour. Passionfruit does offer up a sweetness to this ale amongst an otherwise hoppy bitter.

Gravicask at 37th Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Black in the glass. Beige head, dotted spots on the glass. Mint chocolate nose. Taste like after eight mint chocolate. Okay, rather sweet and unvaried though. (07.02.2019).
