Description
Scarborough Brewery Ltd is a family owned and operated award winning brewery based on the Yorkshire Coast in the seaside town of Scarborough. The brewery has been in operation since 2009, in which time it has grown from a small 1 barrel brew pub idea to a 10 barrel plant, and expanded the range of beers. We offer a range of cask and bottles, both from our own range as well as regularly rotating guest beers from around the country.

Handpull cask from the Three Cups, Bedford. Dark brown, translucent, flat. Chocolate, soy and balsamic vinegar. Taste is a sweet/sour, might be a little past its best. Some liquorice on the finish. Flat-as-a-pancake body. The condition is questionable but the beer itself is poor as well.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - dark brown to plum with a neat thin head. Nice red hue around the bottom of the glass. Nose - chocolate and toffee with a bit of prunes. Taste - plums or cherries, actually marzipan coming through. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced finish. Overall - like this. No chocolate or roast but delicious.
