Confirmed as NRB (as in, brewed on the premises) during a chat with the owner. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light spice and floral hops. Faint biscuit malt. Clean enough of the finish. Apparently some football game was on at the time.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Lightly hazy, deep amber colour. Thin and dense, lasting, semi lacing, just off white head. Nose has a fair amount of sappy pine. Caramel and toffee cracknel malt. Sweet citrus hop. Taste has a spicy biscuit sweetness, turning full on, piny, and earthy hop bitter. Medium to full bodied. Foamy carbonation. Piny bitterness to finish. It’s like a big IPA that didn’t turn out right.

Handpull cask at the Blue Boar as part of their North Riding TTO. Light gold, unfined with a small white head. Aroma of kumquat peel with astringent sulphurous notes. Bitter taste, slightly medicinal to the finish. It's a basic if competent English IPA.

Cask at GBBF 2015 - London. Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white crown. The nose contains hay, zesty lemon, pale grains. Light sweet flavour, notes of pine needles, hay, lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good balance in the finish, modest grassy bitterness, pale bread, more grains. Good enough.
