750ml bottle from Booths, Media City. Plum coloured with a thin head. The ginger spice is dominant, however it’s certainly not overbearing, with cinnamon also evident. Despite its strength it has a pleasant, easy-drinking texture.

Cask @ Golden Ball, York. Blonde with a small creamy head. Has a full hoppy character with a citrus influence, which is very evident in its nose - although it’s quite sugary too. Has an easy-drinking texture too.

Cask @ Beerhouse, Bradford. Clear golden with a creamy head. Floral-malty in its nose, it’s floral-hoppy in taste, but not the best combination of either.

Cask @ White Swan, Leeds. Slightly hazed, bright golden-amber coloured ale. Has a crispness to its texture, but not the fullest of bodies. It’s floral in taste with a berry-sweetness in its nose.

Leeds Beer Festival 2016. Very dark ale. Has a more dominant sweetness than fruitiness, but both are evident here.
