Can, from Trader Joe's, Chicago. Faintly cloudy rich amber with a small frothy off-white head, citrus-malt aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter orangey caramel taste, smooth thin body, long orangey finish. Well balanced brew.

Can, from Trader Joe's Chicago (Aug 2023). Faintly cloudy lemon yellow with a small foamy off-white head, lemon peel aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter lemon peel-pineapple taste, thin smooth body, long lemon peel finish. Decent NEIPA though not too strong flavorwise.

16 ounce can. Medium gold color. Pillowy white head. Spotty lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit and melon. Flavor leans toward, grapefruit, orange, pine, papaya and cracked pink peppercorns. Mildly complex with some warming alcohol. Dry, bitter finish.

16 ounce can. Deep amber orange color. Rocky beige head. Rich, malty aroma hints at toffee. Tangy, toasted malt flavor upfront. Notes of toasted challah bread, golden raisins, caramel and herbal hops. Some dryness on backend. Excellent interpretation of the traditional Munich Oktoberfest style of old.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is bready and has a bergamot note. Med body. It's bready, but clean. Almost astringently dry. Nicely bitter. I'm still getting an Earl Grey note. Rather different, but very nice.

Draught @ GIO Tavern, Chicago (9/18/23). Clear pale yellow with largish foamy beige head, citrus peel aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel taste with faint mango flavor, thin body, long finish. Decent pale ale.

Not really much of a fan of prunes and molasses and beer. This has lots of prunes and molasses, raisins, dark malt, a little toast. Flavors are similar to nose, More sweet than bitter and add in some spice. Not bad but just not my thing.

Can. Golden beer with a whitish head. Tropical fruit aroma. Tropical fruit and lemony citrus flavor. Medium bodied. Tropical fruit and lemony citrus linger.
