Sickly sweet vibe here. Maple, pancakes, roast coffee. Black pour with ok head. Cloying sweet finish with lingering burnt toast taste. Not a great take on this kind of pastry stout. Tap at Loda.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2023. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of bourbon, with some earthy dark grains and a growing roast note. Flavor has some coconut up front with a good amount of roasted malts and a bit of chocolate and bourbon coming through.
