Sampled @ Borefts 2013. Opaque pitch blacl color, small brown head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, alcohol, liquor, slightly sweet alcohol, decent bitterness. Full body, medium carbonation.

Sampled @ Borefts 2013. Lightly unclear orange color, small off - white head. Smell lightly malts, sweetness, some herbs and spices, a slight touch of lemon. Taste sweetness, again a touch of lemon, fruityness, a bit yeasty and only lightly bitter. Average body and carbonation.

Sampled @ Borefts 2013 day 2. Hazy orange color, medium sized beige head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, lightly alcohol, a hint of overripe fruits. Not bad, certainly decent. Medium body and carbonation.

Tap @ Borefts ’13. Pitch black colour with a light brown head. Smells sweet, brown, sugar and roasty. Tastes chocolate, roasty, coffee, vanilla, and port wine. Full body, soft carbo.

Tap @ Borefts ’13. Opaque, hazy oange colour with a small white head. Smells hops, fruity, fresh, apricot and nice. Tastes watery, hoppy and fruity. Very thin body, soft carbo. I know it’s only 3.9% abv and it has a nice smell and taste, which is good, but still I think it’s a shame that it’s so watery.

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2013. Hazy orange with no head. Smell is a mix of bitter & sweet, sticky caramel & wild herbs, Black Forest field in the spring,… Taste is bitter, orange peel, caramel, touch honey, bitter flowers, wild herbs hoppy, more spring feel,… Oily, creamy,… So good, in retrospect, Laugar was my favourite stand @ Borefts 2013. This tastes like a Cypress Valley.

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2013. Black, creamy mocha head. Smells of sweet mocha, milk chocolate mixed with thick Bordeaux, lots of barrel, vinous red grapes, very good. Taste is sweet caramel, mocha, Bordeaux wine, thick, strong vinous, brown sugar, chocolate & lots of barrel. Ridiculously creamy. Excellent, really good these variations overall.

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2013. I had only a small sample of this one because the barrel kept dying on them, this was probably on for like 20 min. in total over the 4 days. Black with little mocha head. Thick rich RIS, sweet coffee, malts, vanilla, very creamy with light & rich Jura in the back, whiskey with some flower notes, very rich & incredible taste. Man these guys really impressed @ Borefts 2013 in my opinion.

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2013. Saison according to the description at the brewery stand. Orange with a big creamy white head. Nose is sweet & oily, dandelions, aromatic hops, like a wild field in the summer, hoppy in that way, caramel, unique,… Taste is sweet oily, same summer field hoppy, floral hoppy, very unique signature which I got also in another Laugar beer which I tried, citrus, caramel malty, brown sugar,… Oily, rich body. Man these guys really impressed @ Borefts 2013 in my opinion.

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2013. Dark amber with some white lacing. Nose is sweet marmalade, orange peel, flowers, honey. Taste is oily marmalade, flowers, bitter wild weeds like in a Swizz field, mean that in a good way, some honey, malts,… Oily, flat, original, distinct & very nice.
