Bottle. Pours dark brown, almost black. Wonderful aroma of hops and lot´s of chocolate. Complex flavor. Sweet of chocolate but there´s also a certain sourness to it. Kind of strange but interesting balance.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Clear amber golden with a small, off-white head. Fat citrusy aroma. Light-bodied, a little caramel and fruit but otherwise completely dominated by dry and bitter aroma hops. More of an American Pale Ale really. 230808 and 180908

Had this at the European Beer Festival Kobenhaven 13-09-08 Thanks to Craig for informing me that I’d put this beer in the wrong place (originally rated as full Idjit by accident) Pouring dark brown, this beer was grainy biscuity in fact bourbon chocolate cream. Had lovely thick mouthfeel, really nice.

Draught at MacKinley’s Inn, Stockholm. Clear golden, brief head. Lovely aroma of grapefruit and lychee. After the initial burst of Amarillo hops the beer dies. Its midsized spritzy body works only as a backdrop, and in absence of the star player - the hops - it falls into mediocricy. Lightly citric finish without much bitterness.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Hazy pale blond color. Very citrusy aroma, the body is very light, with a pleasant hopping, not too strong. Despite the fact that is weak, it’s very refreshing.

(Draught at Bull & Bear, Stockholm, 8 Oct 2008) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, citric nose with lemon and fresh, grassy hops. Fruity, slightly citric taste with notes of citrus, lemon and fresh grassy hops in the finish. Slightly below medium body. Very refreshing.

Bottle RBESG 07 ... While others liked this better i found it the poorer brother of the Full Idjit. HOWEVER it is still by far a superior beer to many. Deep black . light smokeyness with some fruit in nose ... juicy malts fruity with some tobacco tones especially in linger. Tk2 draught at EBF Copenhagen 2008 ... Deep black ... rich malts ... little chocolate nose... deep malts rich alcohol ... little coffee and more roast malts.Tk3 Bottle at home ... Thanks Jeppe ... Deep brown ... big tobacco nose ... deep roast lots of chocolate and tobacco ... quite a lot of fruit ... medium body ... low carbonation... Much as i enjoyed this again ... i wish i could get a 2nd bottle of the Full Idjit.

(Bottle at Beermakers dinner) Very nice, deep hops aroma. Taste is nice with hops, but a very faint aftertaste. Over all, a very nice 2.8%, the best I have tasted.

(Bottle at Beermakers dinner) Very faint aroma of fruit and coffe. The taste is hard to define, but according to Mikael Dugge, "it’s not banana". Quite dry.

(Tap at Beermakers dinner) Aroma with faint citrus and hops. Flavor is a nice, discrete balance of hop and citrus.
