473mL can. Pours black with nice beige head. Aroma has a very gentle roast malt. Flavour has roasted malt; a bit drawn out. Mouthfeel is moderately thick. Nice, but lacking distinct character.

Can. Dark amber. Bright. This is a big ole chewy old timey DIPA. Like 20th century almost. I don't pick up what sorts of hops they are, as they're loaded with pine bitterness and crushed under the weight of a massive pile of pale and crystal malts. It's actually pretty well executed for the type, but it was never my favourite type.

(375ml bottle c/o Phyllomedusa who picked it up somewhere) Pours deep brownish amber with a small white head. Aroma and flavours of caramel-inflected, somewhat toasty and grainy malt with some citrusy hops, pine, some resin, lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter, with a bit of tinny astringency on the finish. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Feels like this was oxidized mis-labelled or something, definitely mostly malty, not particularly dry, like an American IPA from 2005. The colour was not reflective of most of the photos on Untappd, but it is what it is.
