(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and dense foamy white head. Slightly doughy and strawy malty nose with a tinge of grassy hops and hints of sulfur. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Strawy pale malt-character with grassy and slightly herbal hops; moderately dry but still malt-accented finish with delicately herbal hoppy notes. 17.VIII.11

Bottle from my beer tour, Passau. Hazy golden color with medium white head. Aroma of, banana, red fruits, clove. Taste, pretty the same, nice bittersweet finish. Drinkable.

500 mL bottle at the Old German Schnitzel Haus in Hickory, NC on 4/7/11. Pours a clear dark ruby red color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of intense raisin notes, anise, brown sugar and soy. The taste is raisins, lightly roasted malts and a brown sugar finish. Medium bodied. Quite nice.

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw, citrus, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hay, malt, minerals, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.
