Pours a clean amber-pink colour with a warm-white cap, fizzing away rather quickly, but leaving a nice thick ring. Gets hazy the next pour. Cherries, berries nose with some woodiness and hints of vanilla. The taste is quite sour with the vanilla touch taming things. This one is more apparent in the beginning and then in the lingering, but very faint. Cherry flavours, vinegar, a tad wood in the mouthfeel and good sourness. A nice sour cherry beer!

500ml bottle that pours a dark brown colour with a beige head, average retention and some traces of creamy-foamy lacing, a slim coat on the brew. Roasted malt base with some oak-vanilla aromas, light caramel, hints of anise and bourbon. Oily mouthfeel, slick with a building dryness in the finish, that keeps on lingering. Burnt barley flavours with some woodiness, the rest found in the nose and well-balanced grassy hops. This one is growing nicely.

A little eruption right after opening. Dark brown colour, hazy, with copper highlights, a big light mocha-coloured head, good stay and some foamy patches. Nutty aromas with some apple notes. The hot spices do come out at last pour, with just a touch of coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. The taste shows a bit of the same. Some decent dryness in the finish to cut any sweetness. The peppery spiciness lingers a touch. It's fine.
