440ml can from Home Bargains, Darlington. Vibrant reddish colour, short-lived fizzy pink foam head and aroma of berry flavoured sweets. Taste is sweet, artificial, berries, blackcurrant, cordial, gummy sweets. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, sweet berry finish. Kind of OK, but too sweet and artificial.

Bottle shared at the Leighton tasting 08/06/2017. Many thanks to Dirtbag Daniel for this one. A very pale yellow coloured pour fine white head. Aroma is tangy apple, plastic. Harsh alcohol. Flavour is composed semi sweet, plastic, harsh, alcohol, . Palate is tangy, harsh alcohol, moderate carbonation.

Can shared in London - thanks? Pours totally clear pee yellow. Big artificial apple character, some odd lemon. Very sweet, gooey, artificial, sugary. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish, more fake Apple character. Not the best.

Can at LKS. It pours clear yellow - green with a small white head. The aroma is quite sweet, sugary, icing sugar, apple juice and white grape. The taste is sweet, sugary, grainy, apple juice from concentrate, sugary, icing sugar and raw booze with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Raw and sweet.

50cl can from B&M, Doncaster. Almost no head. Low carbonation. Clear strawberry coloured pour. Sweetness and line in the aftertaste. Subtle strawberry aftertaste. Not as bad as I was expecting.

Can from Quality Save, Manchester. Dark clear red with a heavy carbonation. It’s not surprising to see this (at the time) new product given the rise of Dark Fruit ciders from other companies, however it’s not too cider-like. It has a heavy medicinal feel to it, very sweet, tasting like the ’Lemsip’ blackcurrant cold and cough remedy, which given I was recovering from just that at the time kind of felt apt. It probably tastes awful to a fully healthy person though.
