Intensely jammy and sweetish with some boysenberry, blackcurrant, raspberries and honey with hints of syrup and sugary notes, some earthiness.

375 bottle. Pours a very dark purple color with no head. The aroma is quite strong with a decent berry flavor. The taste is intense blackberries, raspberries, honey and a splash of port wine. The palate is full and viscous. Finishes rather long and semi-sweet with a bit of astringency complementing the honey sweetness. Overall: Decent--That is to say very righteous stuff.

375 ml bottle. Pours a deep dark purple color with no head (none expected). The aroma is medium in strength with black currants and some tart cherries. The taste is intense with ripe currants and tart cherries. The palate full and rich. Finishes long and sweet with lingering cherries. Overall: Decent--This is some fantastic stuff. Pairs well with some fontina cheese.

Bottle shared with others. Pours a clear deep purple with no head whatsoever. Aroma has dark berries with a decent amount sweet honey and a bit of gin coming through. Flavor has sweet berries with a light tartness, honey and a bit of gin backing.

Аромат отличный, как будто немного ягод смородины смешали с вишней, немного сладости. Цвет темно фиолетовый, прям как фукорцин без разбавления. Вкус другой, сразу ощущается много гранатового сока, и на финише как будто легкая терпкость от него. Есть также черная смородина и черника. На финише мед, его прям хватает, и сладость в балансе. Очень крутой и уникальный мид, если только добавить бы немного яркости. Пил только эту версию.

Bottle from Tidens Farver @ Home, gifted by Simon. Pours almost black with a red hue, no head. Aroma of honey, rich red berries, black berry, berry skin. Flavor is light sweet, acidic berry, light honey, rich red berries, rich blackberry, berry skin, some alcohol. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, light sweet quite acidic berry finish with a touch of warming alcohol. 150225

Аромат хороший, но не яркий, бочка есть, как будто смородина не только черная но и красная, яжевика. Цвет чуть бледнее чем обычно в этом стиле. Вкус отличный и идельно сбалансированный, хоть и не яркий особо. Помимо смородин, есть четкий гранат, так и по вкусу, так и по терпкости на финише. Бочки намного меньше, прям очень на тоненького бурбон где то проходит. Сладость медовая не сильная но есть. В целом идеал по балансу. Бочка идет медовухам все же.
