Deep, burgundy-tinged cherry liquid is bright, clear and shows good viscosity.
The nose is full of lusciously decadent fruit sugars, with strong, balancing acidity. Notes of blueberry, cherry, cranberry and vanilla all provide complexity, as it doesn’t just smell of straight boysenberry. As with their other meads, the alcohol is well-concealed and the mead is clean. Definitely rich, but the acidity easily balances it and leaves it enjoyable.
In the mouth, it’s equally well-balanced, of course sweet and decadent, but with a big, bright acidity boasting of fruit seed, tart juices and rich, concentrated sugars providing a honey-vanilla-like character. Tannin and acidity linger together on an ultra-soft, comforting palate. Little/no alcohol noted, certainly not what would be expected for its size. Impeccably clean and surprisingly drinkable.

Dark purple, and very rich cherry aroma. Deep cherry, almond, very clean fruit. Plenty of sweetness, but not cloying, more like balanced.

Bottle shared thanks to RandomStrangerNL. Murky deep dull pink. Massive sweet honey, huge cranberry, vanilla, bee's ass. Very sweet, light sour. Full bodied.

375 ml bottle. Bottle numbered 65/189. Dark purple pour. Aroma of mixed dark fruits--cherries, plums, blackberries. The taste is dominated by tart cherries, just that, big bold tart cherries. The palate is full and coats the mouth well. Finishes long and magnificent with lingering tart cherries and some sweet honey. Overall: Top shelf stuff. paired well with some Ghiradelli intense dark chocolates.

375 ml bottle. pours sort of brownish-purple color. The aroma is strong with berries and something citrusy I cant quite identify. The the taste is quite tart with berries, citrus fruits and honey. The palate is full (as always) and coats the mouth well. Finishes long with lingering tart acidity, and a bit of sticky honey. Overall: impressive. never eaten a gooseberry before. I have no idea what a gooseberry is supposed to taste like, but if this is a good representation--then I'm a fan. This is by far the most tart mead I've tried, something I really appreciate.

375ml bottle. Pours a bronze-gold color. Aroma is mild with honey and, nutmeg and faint bourbon barrel. The taste is very similar to the aroma. The nutmeg creates a slight numbing sensation on the lips and palate. There is a bit of oak barrel in the taste. But, its the honey that dominates. The mouthfeel is full and viscous. Finishes long and sticky sweet--almost cloying. Overall: Just Lovely
