16 oz. draft. A near clear yellow appearance. Flavor showed me lemon peel, hey, black pepper, slight cracker malt. Spot on the representative of the style. Refreshing.

32 oz. crowler shared by tfontana. Clear golden yellow color. Aroma shows spruce tips, maybe cracker. Flavor to me is spruce tea. Light tea leaves and spruce tips. I cant find any of the base German Helles. Good just simple.

Crowler pour into nonic pint glass from the brewery. Appearance is pale clear yellow with trace sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is wheat cracker malt with late moderate spruce. Taste is strong spruce with only hint of cracker (perhaps honey). Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, (I can't believe I'm going to say this because it's usually too weak of a contribution but) a little strong on the spruce--would have been nice to have it balanced better with the base beer.
