Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Hazy pale orange with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is sweet, apples, honey and cherries. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. 231013

Bottle. Clear peach with tiny head. Aroma is apple, fruit, honey, cherries and spices. Flavour is apples, honey, spices, cherries, fruit, little tart, herbs, medium sweet. Weird.

Bottle. Small head with short duration. Color is light orange. Aroma and taste are chewing gum, honey, apples, fruits and light carbonation. Weird combo, but good.

Bottle @ Armin’s place, courtesy of arminjewell. Thanks! Pours a clear, dark reddish purple appearance with a pink head. Big clove, apple berry, honey, a bit woody, sweet aroma. Spicy clove, vanilla, tree bark, honey, berry, pear flavor. A little too spicy for my taste.

Split a bottle with some friends. Poured a real clear bloody color with a pink head. Aroma was immediately an overwhelmingly strong clove one, but wasn’t so overpowering later on. Flavor was nice blackberry notes, with some light orange character, cloves are there.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold with no head whatsoever. Aroma has a good amount of booze with sweet honey, bourbon and vanilla. Flavor has sweet honey throughout with a growing vanilla note and a hint of bourbon bite.

Shared bottle, poured to stem glass. Looks like chardonnay. the mango and pepper flavors are very subtle; otherwise, it just tastes like a slightly sweet white wine.

50cl bottle I picked up at Westover Market. Pours a translucent purple with zero head. Looks like grape soda. Aroma is just what you’d expect, punchy clove without being pie like, dried citrus zest, orange in particular, honey, a little candy, loads of juicy berry, black and blue, almost a little scented candle. Flavor for me is a bit heavy on the clove, some of the softer honey notes get lost due to the spice, citrus is there too, orange mostly, notes of pink peppercorns too. Clovey finish. Perhaps a bit heavy handed on the spice, but I really enjoyed it.
