Hackney Bottleshare. Thanks to Wingman for the can. Light haze on this gold beer, good pale cream colour head, Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Somewhat grainy lager malts, dry. A metallic mid and then a dry tangy bitter finish. Not very palatable.

Can at home in Hackney - big thanks to Matteo! Pours clear copper with a small, foamy head. The nose has some lightly toasted malts, toffee, ripening berries. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of oily pine, light bitterness, bread, grape, caramel, toffee. Medium bodied, lightly chewy, with fine to average carbonation. Resinous finish, with more bready malts, ripe berries, pine, gooey caramel, some earth. For what it is, it's enjoyable.

Bottle at home, 15/10/17. Clear golden with a well appointed white cap of bubbles that retains well. Nose is biscuit, straw, hint of tangerine, grassy, light bread, pale malts. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, lemon rind, grass, light floral note, hint of bready malts, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. On the bland side ... not unpleasant but doesn't deliver much.

Can at home in Hackney - big thanks to Matteo for sending. Bit of a gusher. Pours unclear gold with a billowing white head. Needs a while to calm down. The aroma holds dry, grainy pale malts, some hay, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with bitter grass, husky grains, dirty hay, more lemon peel, some bread crust, biscuits. Light bodied with lively, mouth-filling carbonation. Finishes with more grassy bitterness, subtle plastic notes, more husky grains, bitter straw. Pretty ho hum overall.

Bottle at home, 08/10/17. Almost clear copper pour with a decent light beige covering that thins to a swirl in time. Nose carries and Old Skool aroma, caramel malt lead, straw, grass, light tea leaves, biscuit. Taste comprises caramel, light citric rinds, straw, toasted grains, toasted bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a touch of prickle, semi drying close splashed with earthy hop bittneress. Adequate IPA with an Old Skool leaning.
