Medium body, very dry fruitiness, lots of tannins, very astringent. Not so fond of cranberries in my beer! 250711

Bottled. An unclear red beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, cranberries, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of cranberries, vinegar, malt, and wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

cloudy dark smooth light brown head. Mild herbal, malty aroma. Flavor is red fruity, malty , flowery.

Bottle 34,1 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear nutty brown with an off-white head - comes gushing. Heavy roast with a smoky note in the nose. Medium body, heavy roast and licorice, solid malt bitterness. Pleasant in spite of the gushing. 250711

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, and some caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, wood, tobacco, alcohol, and soy sauce, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Bouteille 341ml. De couleur dorée-foncée et légèrement voilée. Nez fruité (agrumes, notes de mangues, traces d’abricots), de houblon citrique (pamplemousse), légèrement herbeux (herbes fraîches) et légèrement résineuse (branche de sapin), malté de caramel doux avec des notes de biscuits. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture moyennement crémeuse et aux petites notes résineuses. Moyen goût fruité (agrumes, notes d’abricots, faibles traces de mangue) accompagné de notes épicées (poivre doux) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de caramel légèrement sucré avec un léger goût de biscuits. Parallèlement l’on retrouve une moyenne amertume assez asséchante de houblon citrique et très légèrement floral qui progresse durant la gorgée pour devenir léger-moyen résineux et légèrement herbeux (herbes fraîches) en finale. Post-goût long et sec, moyennement amer de houblon citrique, légèrement résineux et herbeux avec des notes florales et fruitées (zest d’agrumes).

Bouteille 341ml. De couleur ambrée-dorée et claire. Nez de houblon floral aux notes terreuses et herbeuses (traces de thé), malté de caramel doux, léger de biscuits avec des notes fruitées (agrumes). Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture légèrement crémeuse. Léger goût fruité (agrumes) accompagné d’une moyenne amertume de houblon floral (présent en arrière-goût toute la gorgée) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de caramel très doux avec des notes de biscuits puis en finale l’amertume asséchante de houblon reprend le dessus en étant légèrement herbeuse (herbes mouillées, notes de feuilles de thé) et aux notes terreuses. Post-goût moyen et un peu sec, moyennement amer de houblon herbeux, légèrement floral et aux notes terreuses avec un léger goût fruité (zest d’agrumes).

Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and good lacing. Aroma of citrus and hoppy notes is quite refreshing and enjoyable. Taste is a nice mix between some floral notes with nice fresh citrus notes and a light hoppy bitter finish. Body is quite full for style with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well brewed with nice used of citrus hops.

Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a nice foamy head with OK retention and some limited lacing. Aroma consists of pungy hops with a semi-sweet malt base that makes things quiet interesting. Taste is a mix between some floral hops with light funky notes and a solid semi-sweet Belgian malt backbone. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed though hops profile could be even more intense.
