Can at home I brought from brewery. Greenish hued golden slight cloudy and smaller head. Nose is grassy and crackery. Tastes of lemon grass, water crackers, floral, some basil. Dry palate. Touch watery.

Draft at the brewery with some pizza on way back from home from train journey. Amber pour fairly clear and foamy Brighton that dissapates. Nose is caramel and minerally. Tastes of caramel, dark bread, minerals, hint for dried fruits. Crisp and lighter palate

Brewery draught, 9/27/25.
Heavily hazy, bright blonde-golden. Big, white head, steadily to cover.
Juicy, tropical, lightly spicy with a hint of pine and grapefruit. Some minor fruit salad-like Motueka, it seems, with a bit of tangy pineapple and sweet papaya. Fruity yeast, though clean, with no resin.
Juicy, soft, biscuity and doughy with big esters and lots of various tropical fruit notes. Light citrus and plentiful bitterness for the style. Clean and malty, easygoing.

Brewery draught, 9/27/25.
Sunny golden-maize. Small, white head.
Juicy with big lemon/lemongrass and lots of pineapple and mango. Clean and easygoing.
Rich pineapple and mango. No scallion from the Mosaic. Soft spiciness, low but appropriate bitterness and a soft, almost chewy texture with good attenuation. Classic, prototypical NEIPA.

Brewery draught, 7/3/25.
Heavily hazy, orange sunset. Small, white head.
Very lemony with stone fruit, mango and pineapple. Cracker and white bread are supportive. Hint of pine on the finish.
Lightly juicy with lots of citrus acidity. Orange rind, lemon juice, unripe pineapple and such. Biscuit and white bread are supportive and dry. Maybe just a bit too acidic and full of unripe fruit rind notes. Needs something lightly juicy/sweet from somewhere.

Brewery draught, 7/3/25.
Bit of cloudiness, bright lemon. Fluffy, white head. Lots of carbonation.
Bit of lime, pepper and light clove. Not super Belgian, not super American. Not sweet, no banana or big bubble gum. Crusty, rustic grains insert themselves nicely.
Lemon-peppet, chewy, rustic wheat and lots of clove. Despite the nose this is mega-americanized. Just all clove really. A shame, as the texture is nice and deep, chewy, properly attenuated. But I'm just getting blown out by Clive and white pepper. Yuck.

Undated can (fresh) from the brewery, drunk 4/4/25.
Clear, light blonde-brass with some tangerine tints. Large, off-white head, well-retained, frothy.
Initial impressions are that of an NEIPA minus the haze which is what I want my WC IPAs to be, more or less. Juicy, fruity, not aggressive/resinous. Mild woodiness, vegetal character, spice and stone fruit with lingering tropical fruit. Honey and white bread easily balance.
Juicy and almost perfectly balanced with assertive, but not resinous or overdone bittering. Just a smattering of pine mixed in with tropical fruits and stronger citrus notes. Soft, well-attenuated malts show honey and white bread-like notes. Clean and polished. The quality continues at 7th Wave....

Brewery draught, 3/20/25.
Appearance as pictured.
Smells like a chocolate banana shake, for sure. Clean and adjunct-forward, but the adjuncts are authentic/real.
Big banana and cacao with good acidity coming from somewhere. Body a bit thin but not horrendously so. Not sweet. Lactose not overdone. Just enough sweetness for comfort.

Good roastiness, not overdone. Chocolatey, bit of char and mineral. Clean.
Smokey, roasty, light but with enough malt to satisfy and balance the roast. Ash, char, milk chocolate. Rich and flavorful for its size. Love the smokiness.

Juicy guava and peachy melon with light earth, mineral, tea and finally pine and grapefruit. White bread and cracker malts balance gently. No twang.
Juicy and quite flavorful. A bit prone to pininess but the tropical fruit is well-done. Pretty good maltiness, high attenuation. Ample bitterness. Clean and polished with little/no twang.
